GIGOLO DEN HELDER
On the Texel lightship No. 10, you'll meet Gigolo Den Helder . What's a lightship? I'd be happy to tell you. Den Helder has the most hours of sunshine per year, so let's enjoy a sunny day by the sea. The beaches are beautiful, the water is very clean, and the climate is mild. Instead of swimming, we can also go mudflat hiking. If the weather is bad, we can expand our knowledge at the Naval Museum and the Aquarium, both located in Fort Kijkduin. A stroll through the De Oranjerie Botanical Garden in the city center will round off the day. We'll have dinner in a cozy restaurant and reflect on the day's events .
