Go up 300 steps with Callboy Heidelberg and then fall into his arms.
This could be the enjoyable part after the climb to Heidelberg Castle. Of course, we could also take the cable car, but would being embraced then be just as lovely? The view of the Old Town will be unforgettable. But even from below, the market square is beautiful, surrounded by the Church of the Holy Spirit on one side and the Town Hall on the other. We'll end the day in one of the quaint Old Town pubs with typical German cuisine and a good wine, because Heidelberg has excellent wines to offer. Afterwards, we'll stroll a little further along the Philosopher's Walk by the Neckar River.
