CALLBOY CUXHAVEN
At the mouth of the Elbe River where it flows into the North Sea, Callboy Cuxhaven awaits you at the Kugelbake, the city's landmark. The beacon was once crucial for ensuring safe shipping. Today, this function is handled by electronic navigation systems. From the observation platform atop the Alte Liebe, a two-story wooden structure, we'll enjoy a fantastic view of the coastline, with the wind blowing through our hair. I'll hold you in my arms, and we'll feel each other. If the typical North German dreary weather decides to show up, we'll make ourselves comfortable in the Ahoi Bath.
But the view of the Wadden Sea from the panoramic sauna isn't enough for us. And as they say, "There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing!" So, off we go for a hike through the Wadden Sea. We walk with our guide to the Hamburg island of Neuwerk. Towards evening, we stroll through the pilots' quarter with its old buildings and pilot houses, and we're sure to find a nice restaurant for our dinner together to get in the mood for the night.
