No? Then Callboy Oberhausen will introduce it to you. Allow me to present Slinky Springs to Fame, a bridge sculpture by Frankfurt artist Tobias Rehberger. Inspired by the Slinky spiral toy, the artist designed the 406-meter-long bridge, which is formed by 496 aluminum arches.
As we cross the bridge, we'll pass through 16 different shades of color. And at night, Slinky is illuminated. But that's still a little while away, so we'll visit the Gasometer, the city's landmark. This former coke oven gas storage facility was built in 1929 and is now a fascinating exhibition hall.
A glass panoramic elevator takes us right up to the top of the gasometer. A second elevator even takes us to the outside of the roof, offering a unique view. Once back inside, you should definitely try out the echo.
Callboy Oberhausen will reveal what will amaze you later over a glass of wine.
