The Brunswick Lion stands in Burgplatz, in front of Dankwarderode Castle and Brunswick Cathedral. It is the city's landmark and was erected by Duke Henry the Lion as a symbol of his power. Callboy Braunschweig also has a lion. Where and why?
You should ask him yourself. But don't worry, it won't be dangerous, as the lion doesn't roam freely. After a comprehensive city tour, we'll stroll along the Oker River and watch the activity on the water from one of the restaurants located there. Or we can get active ourselves with a paddling trip on the Oker.
