Where better to find Callboy Offenbach than in front of the Offenbach Hills? Okay, it's not Hollywood, but it's pretty close. And a souvenir photo in front of the large, Hollywood-style lettering is always a good idea. After a tour of the city center and a visit to the Leather Museum, we explore the harbor district right on the Main River. We head up into the 26-meter-high Blue Crane. The decommissioned machine offers a viewing platform with a magnificent view. It's especially magical in the evening when the newly designed crane, created by the Frankfurt-based artist team of Wolfgang Winter and Bertold Hörbelt, is illuminated. Just a short distance away is Harbor 2, also directly on the Main. Here, we relax and wind down the day with a drink in hand, enjoying the evening sun.
