But instead of Lili Marleen, Callboy Lindau awaits you at the Lindau harbor entrance. If you're coming from the land side, you'll see the six-meter-high lion statue on your left. Lions always make my heart beat a little faster. Why, you might ask? I'll gladly tell you later. On the right stands the New Lighthouse. If you don't mind, I'll take you by the hand and lead you up to a height of 33 meters. Wow... what a view awaits us: the island town, Lake Constance, and the Alps. We'll descend again, catch sight of the Mangturm tower, and immerse ourselves in the world of Nobel laureates. This isn't just possible in Stockholm. Since 1951, Lindau has become an international hotspot for science for one week every summer.
Here, young scientists can exchange ideas with Nobel laureates. We can see all of this at the Nobel Laureate Walkway, which was built in 2019.
