CALLBOY GÖTTINGEN
The stroll with a callboy in Göttingen begins at the market square. Here we can also see Göttingen's most kissed girl, the city's landmark, the Gänseliesel (Goose Girl).
Long forbidden, but now permitted again, it is a tradition for first-year university students to climb onto the fountain and kiss the Goose Girl statue. Afterwards, we take a detour into nature, to the Botanical Garden on the edge of the city walls.
When it rains, we simply take refuge in the tropical and cactus house. Directly connected to the Haller Gin, made with herbs from the Botanical Garden, is the Herbarium Bar. The bar and Botanical Garden teams are always on the lookout for new inspiration from nature. So let's treat ourselves to a wonderful cocktail.
